I was planning on posting this on a Monday since I’m trying to make Mondays a “Makeup Monday” kind of thing. (Yes, I love aliteration – sue me.) But Monday is a holiday in the states so that isn’t happening. Instead you’re getting it today.

I’m not sure if I’ve ever mentioned how much I enjoy getting subscription boxes. Even if the box isn’t all hits for me, it’s still a great surprise to get something fun in the mail! It’s like a small gift to myself every month.
That being said, I thoroughly enjoyed this month’s box!

That’s right! I am ON TOP OF THINGS. It is still February and, lo, I have the Sephora box to review. Let’s get to it!
So this was my first subscription box. I’ve used them for YEARS. It has a warm fuzzy place in my heart. I used to get them shipped directly to my apartment. But they changed their boxes so now I get them sent to work. Not the same feeling as finding the surprise in my home mailbox. But, still. A lovely surprise nonetheless.
Yes. Yes, I know. It’s February. But I had The Plague the week this arrived. (This was also the post I had planned until I ran into technical difficulties…)
Anyway. This is one of two beauty subscription boxes I get. I will be covering the other one tomorrow. Yes. It is also from January. I am HOPING that I’ll be able to review these in a more timely manner in the future. It does, however, depend on when they arrive…
For those unfamiliar, for a small fee every month ($10, in this case) you get a fun box filled with samples picked for you based on a survey you fill out. It can be skincare, hair stuff, makeup, perfume, etc. Most of the time it’s products I can’t afford to try anyway. So it’s a nice little treat for myself.
